Milkshake Campaign 2022: A chat with Juno

For this year, a total of five wonderful faces will be the centre point of our campaign. Behind these faces are beautiful stories that we love to share with you. We sat down with campaign model Juno and asked her about her drives and dreams.

“Everyone needs to be able to wear what they want and be who they choose to be. I am someone who just loves to get dressed up and wear what I want; it’s like breathing for me, essential, and without this part of myself I wouldn’t live to the fullest. Everybody needs to breathe, and I wish for everyone to find their way to breathe best."

“Especially for the new generation of queers, negative judgements are of no importance to you.”

“It’s important to not pay too much attention to what other people think of you. Especially for the new generation of queers, negative judgements are of no importance to you. We have all been in situations or felt moments where it’s hard to not let opinions take over how you feel about yourself; just like getting misgendered at the supermarket. Let it go and remember it does not define you.”

“I hope for more visibility, there are more trans people out there and they need to be seen.”

“This year I’ll be hosting the Eurotrans stage, and I’m so excited to bring a burst of fun energy to the Milkshake Afterparty. My love for trans artists and wanting to create a non-typical trans stage formed the idea for creating Eurotrans. Hopefully, in the future, we can go bigger and reach a larger audience to provide somewhere where everyone can enjoy themselves and feel free. I hope for more visibility, there are more trans people out there and they need to be seen.”
