Bear-Necessity was established in 2008 and has become one of Amsterdam’s most popular parties attracting bears and their admirers from all over Europe and further abroad.
Believing in body positivity and always being yourself. All shapes and sizes are beautiful in their eyes and equally welcome at Bear-Necessity.
Panama Club Amsterdam is the home to Bear-Necessity for many years. This legendary space has a max capacity of 1000 people and boasts a superior sound and lighting system.
Bear-Necessity is proud to host revolving DJs from the main circuit and underground scene. The music and sound at Bear-Necessity has a reputation of being uplifting, sophisticated and fun while their DJs put an emphasis on playing music not heard elsewhere.
They have been described by visitors as a no-attitude event where people can be themselves, meet, dance and socialise. Creating a relaxed atmosphere where people come to enjoy good music with friends old and new and dance the night away.
